01 -
Turn on your air fryer and set it to 380°F (190°C). Let it run for 5 minutes to warm up. If you'd like, spray the basket lightly with cooking oil after preheating.
02 -
Toss the chicken thighs into a big resealable bag or a bowl with a lid. Sprinkle in kosher salt, paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and onion powder. Shake it all up until each piece of chicken is evenly coated.
03 -
Arrange the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket so they're skin side down. Let them cook for 12 minutes.
04 -
Turn the chicken over so the skin faces up and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes. If you'd prefer extra-crispy skin, continue cooking in 4-minute intervals until it's just the way you like it.
05 -
Stick a meat thermometer into the thickest part of each thigh to confirm it hits 165°F (74°C). Keep in mind, cooking times depend on how big the chicken is and how powerful your air fryer runs.
06 -
Dig in right away and savor these crispy chicken thighs straight out of the air fryer.
