Falafel Air Fryer (Print-Friendly Version)

Get golden falafel that’s crispy and easy to make in under an hour with just a few simple ingredients and your air fryer.

# Ingredients List:

→ Falafel batter

01 - 355 ml water
02 - 240 g dry falafel mix

→ Oil spray

03 - Grapeseed spray oil

# Detailed Cooking Steps:

01 - Cover the mix and let it sit for half an hour so it soaks up the water.
02 - Give the basket a quick spray with grapeseed oil to keep things from sticking.
03 - Use a spoon or scoop to shape the batter into balls about 2.5 to 5 cm wide.
04 - Arrange the falafel balls with some space around them inside the basket. Do them in batches if you need to.
05 - In a medium bowl, stir the dry falafel mix and water until it comes together into a batter.
06 - Cook at 200°C for 5 minutes, then flip each ball carefully and cook another 5 minutes. Spray some grapeseed oil on them if you want.
07 - Keep frying the rest of the batter in batches and enjoy them warm.

01 - Nutrition may change based on the falafel mix or oil you pick. For crispier falafel, don't be shy with the grapeseed spray. Great with pita, hummus, or tahini.
