Banana Split Bliss (Print-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Dump Cake Base

01 - 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, melted
02 - 1 box yellow or white cake mix
03 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
04 - 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
05 - 4 medium ripe bananas, sliced

→ Toppings

06 - Chocolate syrup or melted chocolate for drizzling if you want
07 - ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
08 - ½ cup fresh strawberries, halved or sliced
09 - 1-2 bananas, sliced for topping
10 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream or 1 tub whipped topping

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - As the cake cools off a bit, beat the heavy cream until you get soft peaks, or just grab some whipped topping from the store. Slather or plop that onto the cake. Throw on some banana slices, your strawberries, plus a handful of chopped nuts. Finish up with a good splash of melted chocolate or chocolate syrup if you’re feeling it.
02 - Slide your dish into the hot oven. Bake about 40 to 45 minutes, just until the top’s golden and there’s bubbling around the edges. Take it out and hang tight for 15 minutes so it can cool down and hold together.
03 - Pour the cake mix dry right over the fruit—don’t stir it at all. Next, pour the melted butter all over that cake mix. Try to get as much of it covered as you can.
04 - Fire up your oven to 350°F (that’s 175°C). Grab a 9x13-inch dish and coat it with butter or some non-stick spray. Line the bottom with all your banana slices. Dump the drained pineapple on top. Follow that with those strawberry slices.
