Bacon Chicken Skewers (Print-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 big chicken breasts, chopped into 1.5 to 2-inch bits, with a touch of salt
02 - 1 ½ cups barbecue sauce
03 - 1 lb bacon, snipped into 1 to 1.5-inch pieces
04 - Fresh pineapple, diced into 2-inch bits

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Mix your chicken chunks with 1 cup barbecue sauce and let sit for 2-3 hours. You can skip this if you're in a hurry.
02 - Pop bacon in the microwave for 2-5 minutes until it's halfway done. Time varies based on how thick it is and how crispy you want it. Let it cool a bit.
03 - String chicken, bacon, and pineapple onto wet wooden or metal skewers. Go back and forth between each item. Bend bacon pieces over and place them by the chicken, leaving space so heat can move around.
04 - Grill until chicken hits 155-160°F inside. Brush the leftover ½ cup barbecue sauce on during the last few minutes of cooking. After cooking, cover them loosely with foil and wait 5-10 minutes before eating.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - If you're using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least an hour so they won't catch fire.
02 - Keep any extras in a sealed container and eat them within 5 days.
