                Get your waffle iron heating up before you start making the batter.

                In a big bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder with a whisk.

                In another bowl, mix up the eggs, milk, vanilla, and melted butter. Don’t stress if the butter forms tiny bits—it’ll all work out.

                Pour the liquid stuff into the dry ingredients. Gently stir them together until you can’t see the flour anymore, but don't overdo it.

                Oil or spray the hot waffle iron. Pour some batter in (how much depends on your waffle maker). Cook until they're crispy and golden, then repeat.
