Pour over some ice, throw in fresh mint, a few more blueberries, and maybe a lemon slice for kicks.

                02 -
Dump the blueberry syrup into a big pitcher, pour in the lemon juice and cold water, give it a good stir, then stick it in the fridge until it's nice and cold.

                03 -
Once it's off the heat, let the syrup chill for a few minutes, then strain out the bits using a mesh strainer or a piece of cheesecloth. Toss what’s left.

                04 -
Toss blueberries, sugar, one cup water, and about half your saved lemon peels into a saucepan. Set it over medium heat till the sugar’s gone and the berries get juicy, like 3 or 4 minutes.

                05 -
Rinse lemons well, peel 2 or 3, juice about 4-5 of them until you’ve got close to 3/4 cup.
