01 -
Kick on the grill and let it reach 175°C.
02 -
Grab a big bowl and toss in the ground beef, whisked egg, seasoning salt, and garlic powder. Mix them by hand till it all looks even. Break it into four balls, flatten them out into patties, then leave them off to the side.
03 -
Take another bowl and throw in those potato slices and carrots. Pour on olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, then stir till everything is covered nicely.
04 -
Rip four big sheets of aluminum foil, around 30 x 45 cm each. Give each one a quick spray with cooking spray. Drop equal piles of the veggie mix right in the middle, then pop a beef patty on top of each veggie pile.
05 -
Fold up the foil real tight. Place the packets with the beef side facing up on the grill grate. Let them cook for 35 to 45 minutes till the potatoes and carrots are super soft and the beef’s cooked through at 71°C. Make sure to flip the packets for the last 20 minutes to cook everything the same way.
06 -
Gently peel back the foil at the top to show the patty. Put a cheese slice over each one. Shut the lid again and cook for about 2 or 3 more minutes so the cheese melts nicely.
