Cherry pie bites (Print-Friendly Version)

Buttery crescent dough filled with juicy cherries and finished with a creamy powdered sugar drizzle.

# Ingredients List:

→ Pie Filling

01 - Cherry pie filling, canned, 595 g

→ Dough

02 - Crescent roll dough tubes, 2 packs of 226 g each

→ Sweet Glaze

03 - Powdered sugar, 120 g
04 - Milk, 15-30 ml depending on thickness

# Detailed Cooking Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 190°C. Spray a muffin pan lightly with cooking spray so nothing sticks.
02 - Roll out the crescent dough and push each piece into the muffin spots with the widest side down.
03 - Put about 45-60 g of filling into each dough-lined cup. Let some spill over for a homemade look.
04 - Bring the dough edges over the filling gently but don’t seal it shut, leave it a bit open.
05 - Pop the tray in the oven for 13-14 minutes until the dough is nicely golden and cooked.
06 - Whisk together powdered sugar and milk in a bowl. Use more milk if you want it thinner.
07 - Drizzle the glaze over the warm bites with a spoon. Best eaten right away!

# Helpful Hints:

01 - You can play with the milk amount to get the glaze just how you like it. These taste best warm.
