Once sugar has dissolved and syrup has thickened slightly, remove saucepan from heat.

Strain syrup through a fine mesh into a glass container, discard solids, and let syrup cool to room temperature.

Fill a glass with ice and pour in preferred amount of cherry syrup.

Froth vanilla almond milk and creamer together; omit this step if no frother is available.
