Airy Banana Chips Cinnamon Sugar (Print-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
02 - 2 bananas, ripe but not overly soft

→ Cinnamon Sugar Coating

03 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
04 - Small pinch of salt
05 - 1 tablespoon regular sugar

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Let banana chips chill on a wire rack so they get extra crunchy.
02 - Pop them in the air fryer for 15 to 18 minutes. Halfway through, flip all the pieces so both sides brown nicely.
03 - Lay out the banana rounds in your air fryer basket. Make sure they don’t touch or overlap.
04 - Turn your air fryer on and set it to 300°F (that’s about 150°C) so it’s nice and hot before you start.
05 - Dust the banana slices with your cinnamon sugar mix. Toss a bit, just so every bit gets covered.
06 - Toss all the banana rounds with warm coconut oil. Try to get each slice smothered.
07 - Grab a little bowl and mix together sugar, cinnamon, and a dash of salt.
08 - Peel your bananas. Cut into skinny circles, about as thick as a coin.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Choose bananas that aren’t too soft or spots on them—those tend to fall apart and won’t crisp up.
02 - Cutting banana slices evenly means they’ll all cook up the same. Mandoline makes it quicker and easier.
03 - Keep chips in a sealed-up jar or box for up to three days. If they lose crunch, chuck them back in the air fryer for a minute or two.
