Put the oats, milk, and salt into a pot. Heat on medium until it starts to bubble gently. Stir now and then.

In a small bowl, beat the egg with honey and vanilla until smooth.

Once the oats soak most of the milk (around 5 to 7 minutes), lower the heat. Slowly stir in the egg mix while stirring constantly to keep it smooth.

Keep cooking for 2 to 3 more minutes till it gets thick and creamy.

Take it off the heat and eat right away. Top with bananas, nuts, or fresh berries if you want.
