Grab a medium pot and add ketchup, Dr. Pepper, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper all together.

Put it on medium heat and stir it often while it comes to a bubble, helping the sugars melt.

Turn the heat down low and leave it uncovered for 20 to 30 minutes. Give it a stir now and then until it gets the thickness you want.

Give it a taste and add more salt or pepper if needed. Take it off the heat and let it cool down.

Pour your cooled sauce into a sealed container and pop it in the fridge. It’ll stay good for about a week.
