# What You'll Need:

→ Sauce Mix

01 - 1 cup ketchup
02 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
03 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
04 - 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
05 - 1 cup Dr. Pepper soda
06 - 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

→ Seasonings

07 - Salt and pepper as you like
08 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
09 - 1 tablespoon onion powder
10 - 1 tablespoon garlic powder

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Grab a medium pot and add ketchup, Dr. Pepper, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper all together.
02 - Put it on medium heat and stir it often while it comes to a bubble, helping the sugars melt.
03 - Turn the heat down low and leave it uncovered for 20 to 30 minutes. Give it a stir now and then until it gets the thickness you want.
04 - Give it a taste and add more salt or pepper if needed. Take it off the heat and let it cool down.
05 - Pour your cooled sauce into a sealed container and pop it in the fridge. It’ll stay good for about a week.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Want it hotter? Throw in some cayenne or a bit of hot sauce. Tweak the brown sugar and vinegar to get the right sweet and sour mix for you.
