01 -
Mix your warm milk with sugar and yeast in a big bowl. Wait about 5 minutes till it gets bubbly. Throw in your soft butter, egg, salt, and 2 cups flour. Stir it all together, then slowly add the rest of the flour until you get a nice soft dough. Work it with your hands for 5-7 minutes till it feels smooth. Pop the dough in a greased bowl, cover it up, and let it sit for 1-1.5 hours until it's twice as big.
02 -
Grab a medium bowl and mix your soft cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until it's completely smooth with no lumps. Put it aside for later.
03 -
Put your cut strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice in a small pot. Cook it on medium heat, stirring until it gets thick like jam. Let it cool completely before you use it.
04 -
On a floured counter, roll your bigger dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle. Spread your cream cheese mix all over, leaving a tiny edge. Then layer your cooled strawberry mix on top. Roll it up tightly from the long side to make a log.
05 -
Use a sharp knife to cut your log into 12 even pieces. Put them in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Cover them up and let them get puffy again for 30-45 minutes.
06 -
Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Stick your rolls in and bake for 25-30 minutes until they turn golden brown and are fully done inside.
07 -
Stir together icing sugar, milk, and vanilla until it's runny and smooth. Pour it all over your warm rolls. Enjoy them right away while they're hot.
