Honey Beer Loaf (Print-Friendly Version)

Golden and warm loaf mixing honey's sweetness with subtle beer flavors for tasty bites.

# Ingredients List:

→ Dry Stuff

01 - 375 g plain flour
02 - 5 g kosher salt
03 - 15 g baking powder

→ Wet Stuff

04 - 355 ml light beer
05 - 45-60 ml melted butter, split
06 - 75 ml honey

# Detailed Cooking Steps:

01 - Start by heating the oven to 175°C. Give a 23x13 cm loaf pan a light spray and set it aside.
02 - Dump the flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl. Whisk them up until they're mixed well.
03 - Pour the beer and honey in with the dry mix. Stir slowly till you don’t see any flour streaks and the batter looks smooth.
04 - Take half of the melted butter and pour it into your loaf pan. Tilt it so the bottom is coated all over.
05 - Spoon the batter into the pan, spread it out evenly. Then brush the rest of the butter on top to get a nice crust.
06 - Pop it into the oven for about 45 to 50 minutes. It should be golden on top and a toothpick should come out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
07 - Let it sit in the pan for 5 to 7 minutes after baking. Then take it out and cool completely on a wire rack.

# Helpful Hints:

01 - Choose a light beer for a softer taste. It's best enjoyed warm with some extra butter or honey on top.
