Give the air fryer a quick warm-up at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes.

Stir together honey, butter, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl until combined well.

Coat the bottom of the air fryer tray lightly with cooking spray to keep things from sticking.

First dip each chicken strip in the buttery honey sauce then press it into the breadcrumbs so itβs fully covered.

Lay the chicken tenders in one layer in the tray without crowding. Cook at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping them halfway, until they look golden and are cooked all the way.

Take the chicken out and let it sit for a little while before digging in.
