Layered Strawberry Bake (Print-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Cake Stuff

01 - 1 box yellow cake mix (about 15.25 oz)
02 - 2 cans strawberry pie filling, 21 oz each
03 - 1/2 cup chopped pecans (totally up to you)
04 - 8 oz block cream cheese, softened up
05 - 1/2 cup butter, melted
06 - 1/2 cup white sugar
07 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, any kind

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Get your oven going at 350°F (175°C). Coat a 9×13 pan with butter or baking spray first.
02 - Spoon in both cans of filling, spreading it right to the corners.
03 - Mix up the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Drop some dollops over all the fruit.
04 - Cover everything with the dry cake mix. Make sure all cheesy sections disappear under it.
05 - Pour the melted butter everywhere on top. If you’re feeling it, throw on the pecans, too.
06 - Bake it for 40 to 45 minutes until you spot bubbling and a nice, golden crust.
07 - Let it chill a bit so you don’t burn your tongue, then scoop yourself a warm piece.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Go wild with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped topping if you want even more yum
02 - Feel like mixing it up? Use blueberry or cherry filling instead
03 - Super easy—just stack the layers and let your oven do the heavy lifting
