Mint Choc Protein Bites (Print-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1–2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk, use more if it looks dry
02 - 1/4 cup mini dark chocolate chips
03 - 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
04 - 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder
05 - 2 tablespoons honey
06 - 1 cup almond butter
07 - 1/2 cup rolled oats

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Move your finished protein balls into a sealed container. They’ll stay fresh for about a week in the fridge.
02 - Lay all your shaped balls on a tray lined with parchment, pop them in the fridge, and let them firm up for 20 minutes.
03 - Scoop out some dough using a tablespoon, then roll it with your hands to make little even balls.
04 - Stir the chocolate chips gently into your dough. Make sure they’re spread out so you get some in every bite.
05 - If the dough looks a bit crumbly, pour in almond milk by the tablespoon and mix until it all sticks together.
06 - Grab a big mixing bowl. Toss in oats, almond butter, honey, protein powder, and peppermint extract. Mix it all up real well until the dough looks even.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Want it vegan? Use maple syrup instead of honey.
02 - If things get sticky, stash the bowl in the fridge for 5 or 10 minutes before you roll the balls.
03 - Play with the peppermint flavor—add more or less until it’s just how you like it.
04 - Stir in some flax seeds or chia if you’d like extra fibre and protein.
