01 -
Start by tossing bread flour, yeast, salt, sugar, melted butter, warm milk, and water into a mixer with a dough hook.
02 -
Begin on slow then speed up to high and knead for about 8 to 10 minutes until the dough feels smooth and stretchy.
03 -
Put the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and leave it in a warm spot for an hour or until it doubles in size.
04 -
On a floured counter, roll the dough out into a 46 by 33 cm rectangle, then place it on a baking tray.
05 -
Cut the dough into 20 strips using a pizza wheel so you get breadsticks.
06 -
Cover the breadsticks and leave them to puff up again for half an hour to an hour.
07 -
Stir together 30 g melted butter with onion flakes, oregano, garlic powder, basil, and salt until blended well.
08 -
Set your oven to 245°C (470°F) so it’s nice and hot.
09 -
Brush the breadsticks with 30 g melted butter then bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden and crispy.
10 -
Right after baking, spread the herbed butter over the breadsticks and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cut and serve them warm, great with marinara sauce.
