# What You'll Need:

→ Veggies and Meat

01 - 1 lb beef, ground
02 - 1 small onion, chopped

→ Spices

03 - 1 tsp garlic powder
04 - Salt as you like
05 - Black pepper as you like

→ Dairy and Sauces

06 - 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
07 - 1 can (10 oz) creamy mushroom soup
08 - 120 ml sour cream

→ Pasta

09 - 2 cups cooked elbow or rotini pasta, drained

→ Cheese

10 - 115 g shredded mozzarella
11 - 170 g shredded cheddar

→ Topping

12 - Chopped fresh parsley, if you want

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Turn your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 13x9 inch baking dish and keep it nearby.
02 - Cook ground beef and onion in a big pan over medium heat until the beef loses its pink color and the onions get soft. Drain the fat. Add garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
03 - Into the pan with the beef, pour in tomato sauce, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream. Stir it all up and let it warm up.
04 - Put half the pasta in the baking dish first. Then add half the beef sauce mix and sprinkle half the cheddar cheese. Do the same layers again with what’s left.
05 - Sprinkle all the shredded mozzarella evenly on the very top layer.
06 - Cover it with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Then take the foil off and bake 10 more minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
07 - Take it out, add chopped parsley if you like, and enjoy while it’s warm.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - For a lighter twist, swap ground beef with turkey or chicken. No cream of mushroom? Cream of chicken works too.
