Peach Lemonade (Print-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Fruits

01 - Chop up 4 juicy peaches

→ Sweetener

02 - Between half and three-quarters cup of sugar

→ Juices

03 - Fresh lemon juice, 1 cup squeezed

→ Liquids

04 - 6 cups of water ready

→ Toppings (optional)

05 - Lemon slices
06 - Some fresh mint leaves
07 - Ice cubes
08 - Peach slices

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Put sugar, peaches, and 2 cups of water in a pot. Heat it until it just starts boiling. Turn the heat down and let it cook for 10 minutes until peaches get soft and the sugar melts.
02 - Blend the peach mix with an immersion blender or move it to a normal blender. Keep blending till it’s nice and smooth.
03 - Push the peach blend through a fine strainer into a jug. Use a spoon to press gently to get all the juice out. Toss the solids and let the juice cool down completely.
04 - Add the lemon juice and the leftover 4 cups of water to the cooled peach liquid. Taste it and add more sugar or lemon juice if you want it sweeter or tangier.
05 - Serve over ice and throw on peach slices, lemon wheels, or fresh mint if you like.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Sweetness depends on your peaches, so add sugar as you feel. Don’t add lemon juice before the peach mix cools or it might taste bitter.
02 - Try swapping some water for peach nectar if you want it stronger in flavor.
03 - A tiny bit of salt can make the sweetness pop.
