Snickers Caramel Apple (Print-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Base

01 - 8 ounces Cool Whip or use 1 cup heavy cream, whipped till fluffy
02 - 3/4 cup whole milk
03 - one box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding powder

→ Fruit

04 - 6 Granny Smith apples, save one to decorate at the end

→ Candy

05 - 6 regular Snickers bars, keep one aside for the topping

→ Topping

06 - drizzle of caramel sauce, optional

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Mix up the instant pudding powder with cold milk in a big bowl until you get a smooth, thick texture. Stir in the whipped topping gently so it stays airy.
02 - Chop five Granny Smith apples into small cubes for mixing. Hang on to that extra apple for later. If you want to prep ahead, roll chopped apples in a splash of lemon juice or soda so they don't turn brown, then dry them off.
03 - Cut five of the Snickers bars into small chunks and put the last bar aside for your final touch.
04 - Add the apple pieces and chopped Snickers into the pudding bowl. Fold them in nicely so they're spread out. Stick the bowl in the fridge until you're ready to dig in.
05 - Just before serving, cut up your extra apple and last candy bar, and toss those bits on top. Go ahead and drizzle caramel sauce if you're into it.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - If whipping your own cream, beat up 1 cup heavy cream until it's sturdy and peaks stand up. Sweeten and add a splash of vanilla if you like.
02 - A little lemon juice or lemon-lime soda keeps your apples from looking dull and brown.
