# What You'll Need:

→ Main Things

01 - Spray oil for greasing
02 - 8 oz of cream cheese
03 - 1 cup of sour cream
04 - 30 oz of refried beans
05 - 4.5 oz of diced green chiles, drained and rinsed well
06 - 1 oz taco seasoning mix (around 3 tablespoons)
07 - 1/2 teaspoon of coarse salt
08 - 1/4 teaspoon of smoked paprika
09 - 1/4 teaspoon ground onion powder
10 - 1/4 teaspoon chili seasoning
11 - A pinch (1/8 teaspoon) of cayenne spice
12 - 16 oz of shredded cheese blend (about 4 cups)
13 - 1/4 cup of finely sliced green onions
14 - Chips for dipping—tortilla style

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 13x9-inch pan by spraying it with oil.
02 - Put cream cheese and sour cream together in a microwave-friendly bowl. Heat at high power for 90 seconds so the cream cheese gets soft. Mix until smooth.
03 - Combine the refried beans, drained chiles, taco spices, salt, paprika, chili powder, onion powder, cayenne, and half of the shredded cheese into the cheese mixture. Stir it all up until it’s well blended.
04 - Scoop the mixture into the greased pan, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the rest of the shredded cheese on top.
05 - Pop it in the oven and bake until the cheese melts, about 25 minutes. Take it out, scatter green onions on top, and serve warm with tortilla chips.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Be sure the chiles are properly drained to keep extra liquid out.
