Tropical Thunder Soda (Print-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - Crushed ice, as much as you need
02 - Juice from half a lime
03 - 1 tablespoon coconut syrup
04 - 2 tablespoons pineapple juice
05 - 1 tablespoon half-and-half
06 - 1 can (12 oz) lemon-lime soda

→ Garnish

07 - Maraschino cherries
08 - Slices of lime

# Step-by-Step Directions:

01 - Drop in a slice of lime and toss in a cherry. Pop in a straw if you want, then sip it before the ice melts.
02 - Pour that tablespoon of half-and-half right on top. Now give it a light stir to get those creamy streaks.
03 - Crack open the can and slowly top off your glass, letting the bubbles stay fizzy.
04 - Take half a lime and press out the juice right into your glass.
05 - Pour in those two tablespoons of pineapple juice and the coconut syrup, making sure it soaks the ice.
06 - Take your icy glass and stuff it full with crushed ice until it’s brimming.
07 - Stick a tall glass into your freezer for a few minutes so it gets really cold.

# Helpful Notes:

01 - Skip the half-and-half and pick coconut cream if you don't do dairy.
02 - Popping your glass in the freezer keeps things cool and bubbly.
03 - Pebble ice is awesome for keeping your drink chilly but not watered down.
04 - You can set all the juice and syrup in the fridge ahead of time, then just add ice and soda when you wanna drink it.
