Feta Basil Bruschetta (Print-Friendly Version)

A smooth mix of feta, garlic, basil, and ripe tomatoes for a tasty, fresh dip.

# Ingredients List:

→ Herbs & Veggies

01 - Minced 2 garlic cloves
02 - 4 diced Roma tomatoes, cored
03 - Chopped fresh basil leaves, 60 ml

→ Vinegars & Oils

04 - Lemon juice, 15 ml
05 - Olive oil, 15 ml
06 - 5-10 ml balsamic vinegar
07 - Extra virgin olive oil, 15 ml

→ Cheese & Cream

08 - Softened cream cheese, 115 g
09 - Sour cream, 30 ml
10 - Feta cheese crumbled, 225 g
11 - Grated Parmesan cheese, optional

→ Flavorings

12 - Salt, as needed
13 - Optional red pepper flakes

# Detailed Cooking Steps:

01 - Sprinkle some fresh basil leaves and red pepper flakes. Add Parmesan if you want.
02 - Spoon the marinated tomato mix evenly over the cheese spread in a shallow dish.
03 - Blend feta, cream cheese, sour cream, leftover minced garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil in a food processor for a few minutes till smooth. Scrape sides as needed.
04 - Try the cheese blend and add salt if it needs more flavor.
05 - Set the tomato mix aside for about 10 minutes so flavors can soak in.
06 - Put diced tomatoes into a bowl with chopped basil and one garlic clove. Pour olive oil and balsamic vinegar on top, salt it, then gently mix it all.
07 - Cut Roma tomatoes into small pieces after taking out the core.

01 - Taking out tomato seeds helps keep it from getting watery.
02 - You can add more or less balsamic vinegar to suit your taste.
03 - Feta brings salt on its own, so be careful adding extra salt.
