06 - Shaved beef steak, between 340 and 397 g

→ Spices

07 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

09 - Half teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
10 - Three-quarters teaspoon salt

→ Bread

11 - Hoagie rolls, 5 count

→ Cheese

12 - Provolone cheese, 6 slices

# Detailed Cooking Steps:

01 - Heat oven to 175°C. Spread some butter, about 2 tablespoons, on the rolls then toast until golden and crunchy.
02 - Lay the provolone slices over cooked beef and veggies. Turn off heat and cover to let the cheese soften nicely.
03 - Put the cooked veggies back with the beef in the pan. Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Let them cook together for a minute or two so the flavors soak in.
04 - Turn the heat up to medium-high and add the rest of the butter and oil. Cook the beef strips until they get that nice brown and are done.
05 - Throw the onions and bell pepper slices into the pan. Cook them for about 3 minutes till they’re a little soft. Take them out.
06 - Heat 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon oil in your skillet over medium heat. Cook mushrooms for a couple minutes till they soften. Remove them from the pan.
07 - Cut the mushrooms, bell pepper, and onion into thin strips.
08 - Stuff each toasted roll with the warm beef, veggies, and melted cheese mix. Best served right away while it’s hot.

# Helpful Hints:

01 - Pick good shaved beef to keep it tender and tasty. Season how you like. You can add toppings like spicy peppers or cheesy sauce to change it up.
