Get your grill nice and hot between 190°C and 232°C. Don't forget to coat the grill grates or pan with a bit of oil so the chicken won’t stick.

Put together the chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, black pepper, onion powder, and salt in a small bowl. Give it a good stir so it’s all blended.

Pour olive oil over the chicken breasts. Rub the spice mix all over the chicken so every bit is covered.

Lay the chicken on the hot grill. Cook each side for around 6 to 8 minutes. Flip once and keep going until the inside hits 74°C and it’s done, about 12 to 15 minutes total.

If you want, squeeze some fresh lime juice on top and sprinkle with chopped cilantro before digging in.
