Get the slices warm and have some extra marinara sauce ready for dipping.

Pop the tray into the oven you've warmed up and let it bake for 12 to 15 minutes till it’s golden and bubbly.

Drizzle a little olive oil on top, then sprinkle more Italian herbs and Parmesan to finish.

Lay the rolled slices on a baking tray lined with parchment, spacing them out so they don’t stick.

Roll the dough up firmly from one side to the other, then chop it into pieces about 2.5 cm thick.

Scatter Italian seasoning on top of the cheese and add some grated Parmesan.

Spread mozzarella all over the sauce and toss pepperoni slices on if you’re adding them.

Spoon the marinara sauce over the dough, staying about 2 cm away from the edges.

Flatten the dough on a floured surface until it’s even and thin.

Turn the oven on to 190°C and wait till it’s fully heated.
