# Ingredients List:

→ Base

01 - 312 grams plain flour
02 - 227 grams unsalted butter, melted
03 - 5 milliliters vanilla flavor
04 - 300 grams white sugar
05 - 3 grams salt

→ Filling

06 - 120 milliliters salted caramel topping
07 - 3 medium apples, peeled and sliced thin (about 450 grams)
08 - 0.5 grams nutmeg powder
09 - 2.5 grams cinnamon powder

# Detailed Cooking Steps:

01 - Set your oven to 190°C. Line a 23x33 cm pan with parchment paper.
02 - In a big bowl, combine sugar, melted butter, vanilla flavor, and salt. Stir it up well.
03 - Add flour to the butter mix and stir until crumbly. Save about two-thirds of this. Press that saved part firmly on the bottom of your lined pan.
04 - In another bowl, toss apple slices with cinnamon and nutmeg so they're all coated.
05 - Spread the spiced apples over the crust layer. Pour the salted caramel sauce evenly on top.
06 - Sprinkle the rest of the flour mixture over the apples and caramel to finish the crust.
07 - Put the pan in the oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Look for a nice golden top and soft apples.
08 - Let the bars cool fully in the pan. Then slice into 16 pieces.

# Helpful Hints:

01 - Go for a good quality salted caramel sauce to make it taste better.
02 - Keep the bars fresh by storing them in a sealed container at room temp.
