As seen in Satisfying Entrées for Every Table.

There’s heaps of mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan packed with shredded chicken in these wraps. You brush tortillas all over with a garlic-parsley butter and either toss them on a baking sheet or sear in a skillet for epic crunch. Grab some ranch or marinara to dip—they’ll disappear fast. Totally simple, crazy cheesy, and total hand-held comfort when you want something filling without much work.

I first tossed these together after a late soccer match Was exactly what we all wanted My kids now beg for more garlic butter Honestly we never have any left to save

Irresistible Ingredients

  • Cooked chicken breast: packed with protein and soaks up all that gooey cheese Shred it for easy bites Rotisserie is great if you want to go faster
  • Shredded mozzarella: for that unforgettable stretchy melt If you can, shred a block yourself for best results
  • Shredded cheddar: brings some tang and a pop of color Go for sharp if you love more bite
  • Grated Parmesan: big, nutty flavor adds something special Fresh from a block is best
  • Dried parsley: little herby flavor and green flecks Go for the vibrant green flakes not dull ones
  • Butter: makes the outside golden and crispy Unsalted lets you tweak the saltiness
  • Fresh garlic: packs a punch when minced fine Choose firm bulbs so you get the good stuff
  • Flour tortillas: pick big soft ones so you can wrap them up and get them super crunchy If you spot fresh ones at the bakery, grab them

The real star is Parmesan It just kicks the flavors up so much my daughter even adds more to hers I have to admit she's got the right idea

Clever Storage

Chill those wraps fully before sticking in the fridge Wrap each in foil or pack tight in a container They’ll last fine for three days Reheat in a hot skillet or a toaster oven to get the crunch back You can freeze too If you do, let them thaw before reheating so you keep them crispy

Tasty Swaps

Switch up the protein with tofu or turkey if you want something new Smoked gouda or pepper jack cheeses add a whole different twist Want more fiber Use whole wheat tortillas or spinach wraps instead

Serving Ideas

Pair these with a crunchy salad or a steamy bowl of tomato soup for pure comfort Cut them into tiny bites for easy snacking at parties Have lots of dipping sauce handy for extra flavor fun

Common Questions

→ Is it cool to use leftover chicken?

You bet! That rotisserie chicken or what you cooked last night works awesome. Makes throwing these together even faster.

→ How do you get wraps super crispy?

Pan-frying in garlicky butter wins for mega crunch. Want it all easy? Just bake 'em instead and you'll still get some crisp.

→ Can I make these in advance?

Yep! Put your wraps together, stash in the fridge, then brush with the garlic butter and heat when you're set to eat.

→ Could I use different cheeses inside?

Go for it! Try provolone or Monterey Jack if you wanna change the cheesiness or flavor.

→ What dips taste great with these wraps?

Heaps! Garlic aioli, ranch, or just plain old marinara are all killer with them.

What You'll Need

→ For the Wraps

01 480 grams cooked chicken breast, torn or cut into pieces
02 110 grams shredded mozzarella
03 60 grams grated cheddar
04 20 grams parmesan, shaved or grated
05 4 large flour tortillas

→ For the Garlic Butter

06 45 grams unsalted butter, melted
07 2 garlic cloves, chopped up real small
08 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Step-by-Step Directions

Step 01

Dish them out while still hot for best flavor. Use any dipping sauce you love. Marinara, ranch, or something garlicky work awesome.

Step 02

Crank your oven up to 190°C. Dab garlic butter all over each wrap. Pop them seam side down on parchment on a tray. Flip every wrap in the middle of baking. You’ll get that toasted crunch after 10 or 12 minutes.

Step 03

Set a skillet or griddle to medium. Brush a little garlic butter on each wrap’s outside. Place them seam side down. Let them crisp up about 2–3 minutes on one side, then turn and do the other.

Step 04

In a little bowl, combine that melted butter with parsley and the garlic. Just stir until everything is mixed up.

Step 05

Start with one tortilla flat on your surface. Add about 120 grams filling in the center. Now fold in the edges and roll it up real snug, burrito style. Do the same for all the rest.

Step 06

Chuck the chicken, mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan into your large bowl. Give it a good toss so you’ve got an even mix that holds together.

Helpful Notes

  1. Roll those wraps tight or you’ll lose filling when cooking.
  2. Kick up the flavor with a sprinkle of chili flakes or a dash of black pepper inside.
