How To Make It
- Mix The Batter
- Turn your oven to 350°F and grease a 10-ounce ramekin with nonstick spray so nothing sticks. In a blender, toss oats, Greek yogurt, almond milk, egg whites, protein powder, salt, cinnamon, baking powder, vanilla extract, and Swerve. Blend until smooth and set aside.
- Cook Blueberry Jam
- On medium heat, warm frozen blueberries with vanilla extract and Swerve in a small pot. Mash some berries gently with a spoon as they heat to get the juices flowing. Let it bubble and thicken like jam then take it off the heat.
- Put It Together
- Pour the oat mix into your ramekin evenly. Make a small dip in the center and drop in the warm blueberry jam. The jam should be surrounded by the oats. Bake for around 25 minutes until the edges turn golden and the middle is firm.
- Cool Down
- Take it out and let it cool a little so it firms up and’s easier to eat. Enjoy warm and relish the creamy oats paired with sweet jam in the center.
The best bit for me is the jam center that brings a nice tangy sweetness with every bite through the soft baked oats. It feels like a lazy weekend breakfast I remember from childhood when my mom made fruit jams from scratch to pour over warm cereal.
Keeping It Fresh
If you have leftovers, cover and pop them in the fridge for up to 3 days. Warm up slowly in the microwave or oven, adding a bit of almond milk if it feels too thick. This is perfect for making ahead and grabbing on busy mornings.
Switch It Up
You can swap almond milk for any milk you like, plant-based or dairy. Try flavored protein powders like chocolate or berry to change things up. If you want it vegan, skip the egg whites and use flax or chia egg substitutes instead.
How To Serve
Top your baked oats with extra fresh berries, a spoonful of nut butter, or some crunchy toasted nuts. If you want it sweeter, drizzle a bit of honey or maple syrup. Pair it with Greek yogurt or cottage cheese for an even bigger protein hit.
This baked oats mix up good nutrition with homey comfort so every bite's a pleasure. It's a great way to kick off your day or grab a nourishing snack anytime.
Frequently Asked Cooking Questions

Sure, fresh blueberries work fine in the jam too. Just watch out since they might release more liquid, so you may need to cut your cooking time down a bit.
- → What can I use instead of liquid egg whites?
You can swap egg whites with flaxseed mixed with water or a store-bought egg replacer to get that same binding and texture.
